I prefer molly because to me Methylone is almost sedating, MDMA made me want to go out and do shit, dance, jump around, talk a million miles a minute, etc. Methylone makes me want to chill, sit in a comfy chair and just listen to music and meditate. Very interesting reaction, but it was DEFINATELY enjoyable..M1 is great.

Its a pretty common drug and losta people have access to it. Just because they prefer another substance with similar effects doesnt mean they haven't had the real thing.
Personally i've been deprived of M1 so I have little more to say on the matter, however I can definitely see the appeal in a slightly less intense MDMA substitute

As I said before I cant make a fair comparison seeing as I've only had molly but its entirely plausible that some individuals would prefer something that didnt make their world melt in such a profound and intense way.

And I wasnt picking on you for your post, it just seems that theres always some silly cunt in every MDMA related thread making a post like that.

First time MDMA is an incomparable experience and overall I prefer it to methylone, but there are situations where I'd rather take methylone as some of MDMA's effects can be undesirable in certain situations.

I for one enjoy methylone more. I've eaten and injected nearly pure MDMA a few times, the stuff is just too overwhelming, lasts too long depending on the ROA and if you take too much you can certainly expect a comedown from hell.

Methylone packs everything MDMA does but its 3 times cheaper and doesn't have a horrible fluttery come-up and only lasts about two hours.

I haven't tried either. The only thing remotely close that I've tried is mephedrone, which I know isn't the same at all. I imagine that methylone can more reliably produce a good high, while the magic of MDMA is in the first time. Is that idea any good?

^ mephedrone and methylone aren't that dissimilar. They mix well.

MDMA is most magical the first time - only a handful of experiences, drug-related or not, compare to how I felt the first time I got that MDMA rush - but as long as you space out your experiences it's always superb. More of a special occasion drug than 'drone or 'lone.

I have tried a wide variety of stimulants over the years. Starting with MDMA and adderall as a teen and in recent years I have experimented with 4-FMA, 4-MEC, MCAT, E1, and B1 but I never got to try M1 (Or MDMC as it should be rightfully known, if only shulgin hadn't jumped the gun on giving that name to EDMA). I am expecting to have a day dream sometime soon with 4-MMC (Mephedrone) and I might mix it with about 80mg of MDMA I have lying around. I let you guys know what happens.

Can someone give me a quick overview/rundown on these MDMA analogues (is that the right term? Pharmacologically similar?).

So there's:

(1) MDMA - Tried that many times. Loved the heck out of it.

(2) MDA - Apparantly tried that once. It was pretty decent. I'm not entirely sure if it was the real thing though.

(3) Methylone - Never tried it. Only just hearing about it. Am now super intrigued to try it.

Are there others?

I saw 4-FMA, 4-MEC, MCAT, E1, and B1, and mephedrone mentioned in this thread...

I tend to really dislike stimulants, but MDMA, MDA, and so forth are fantastic. What other drugs are there that border more on the Empathogen-entactogen side? (Not that I am *completely* averse to stimulant properties, but generally prefer that other side).

Also, Marquis tests aren't that reliable anymore for testing if you have MDMA, there are many analogues that react the same way as Molly. For instance apbs go to dark purple/black when tested.

I've heard of people using magnesium for that... Have you tried it? I've never tried it so I have no idea how it works.

Usually when I end up doing (most) drugs, it's a spur the moment kind of thing so I never have all these fancy supplements lying around. One of these days, though, I'm gonna test it out.

MDMA?

About a third of a gram spaced over the course of a night. Chucked a gram in a bottle of water and shared it between two (somewhat experienced) mates.

Ended up throwing up water in the club toilets because I made the classic newbie mistake of drinking far too much water, but luckily it was Fabric and they couldn't care less about that.
