Alice in Chains lead vocalist and lifelong heroin junkie. There really hasn't been a voice like his, damn that fucker could sing.

Nice post, Duke. You must really dig AIC. "Don't Follow" is a fucking awesome song. Underrated. I wonder where K4aic has been. she really, really digs AIC. In fact, when I saw this thread, I assumed she made it.

No lie, "Don't Follow" is my favorite song, too. The bridge Staley sings at the end is phenomenal. He really belts it out.

Can't tell if you're trolling or not. Part of the reason why I love Alice in Chains is because their shit doesn't sound the same.

Listen to "Dirt" then "Sap". Yeah, those CD's both sound sooooo similar.

If you don't like it, or think it's "gay" - that's fair enough, really. It's all personal taste. But, saying it all sounds the same is false.

Rooster is their most known song. Try listening to songs they didn't release as singles, they have allot of good tunes that most people have not heard of.

The songs dont all sound the same, you must be trolling....

With Staley.
Twice with them headlining, once opening up for Ozzy - Layne had a broken leg that time.

I'm envious. I remember the broken leg incident!

Good for you, man. That's really something. I never got a chance to see them. It's one of my biggest regrets.

Yea, yesterday marked the anniversary of Kurt Cobain passing. I always enjoyed the quality of music that came out of that period.. Nice show with the touch of "Mad Season" up there. I remember going to school listening to them, and actually having to convince some of the other "rockers" that it was Layne Stahley and the pre-carnation of what would be Alice in Chains. Still missed, and died terribly..
