Some hoodrat I know is having a birthday next week. Two things she really enjoys: Shooting my guns, and watching The Venture Bros.
Bitches love Venture Bros, I'mma get her some Venture Bros.
Questions/comments/hate all welcomed. This thing is pretty badass, I'm pretty jelly I'm giving it away, in retrospect.
It's a fully functional Maverick 88. I got ripped off buying it, as it's the older model with a single action rod, and was helluh beat up. The only reason I thought to duracoat it was because the internals were spottily coated in tan paint (wtf??? The outside was fine, WHY is there shitty spraypaint all over the inside of the reciever??????).
I honestly believe I increased the value by quite a bit with this finish. It looked like absolute crap beforehand, and was a bit rattle-y. The Duracoat tightened the tolerances inside and out, making it much more solid. It has much less rattle, looks fucking clean as hell, and cycles amazingly.
I have yet to shoot it, but I there are no foreseeable problems. This thing feels like a new gun.
