Default Seafood Pasta from CANS!

Going through my cabinets, I found

2 tins of Spiced Octopus
2 tins of Whole Baby Clams
2 tins of Smoked Muscles
2 tins of Smoked Oysters
a box of Rotini pasta
1 can of pasta sauce
1 pouch of crabmeat

got me thinking... Add
1 stick of butter
salt & Pepper
olive oil
2 cut chives
6 diced mushrooms

decided to mix everything and then I added a ladle of the pasta water and everything came out wonderful.

We ate it all! Had to set 1 dish aside for a friend and even then we picked off the plate!

That would be nice, no cream/garlic base though, or wine, or tomato base? Hmm. I'd fry up some french shallots for it too. Sounds good though. How was the tinned 8pus for texture though?

The octopus was fine. I used the Tomato pasta sauce as a base and then added a little sherry, and the ladle full of the starch water. When I cook my pasta (boil) I add a couple pieces of garlic. Since I always do this I forget to tell people sometimes. It takes the garlic out of the sauce and gives the pasta an interesting flavor.
