Creating a SIM card from a prepaid GSM phone that doesn't have a regular SIM card
Please excuse my ignorance...
Is it possible(and if so, how difficult) to buy a prepaid phone that comes with an unlimited data plan(3g+4g), but doesn't come with a regular sized sim card, and then copy the SIM card data to a regular SIM card so that it would work in a phone that allows tething?
That way I could tether for big downloads/updates without upsetting my carrier.
I've looked up the SIM card reader/writers on Amazon, and I'm not sure if they are only for phone entries, or the whole card.
