My physical transformation from 2010 to 2012
I figured I'd give an account of how I did it, but most people's attention spans are too short. So I'll just post the basic story which goes like this: (if any one wants to know how I did it then I might write it up)
I was skinny my whole life, but in 2010 some bad shit happened, I got diagnosed with PTSD, I also got dysentery while travelling and I became an opiate addict. I got to 57kg at 5'10 so I was extremely under weight.
After years of training, trying supplements, different proteins, diets, work out routines, etc I started to achieve my goal. I'm now at 74kg with quite a low bf % (I don't know the exact amount but this test I did in a Bangkok mall said I was at 10.5%).
This is me in 2010
and after 2 and a half years, This is me now (2012) - I'm only deadlifting such a tiny weight for the purposes of the photo.
I'm no where near the physique I want. I want much bigger legs, but because I'm a manual labourer, I'm fucked for work if I work my legs too hard. They get so sore I can't even squat down to pick something up. Plus for the 6 months I took my weight training the most seriously, I'd snapped my 2nd metatarsal (bone in your foot) clean in half, which completely ruled out calves/quads exercises. I hate my chicken legs, but what ever, I'm working on them now and I've maxed the machine at the gym I'm at so I can't get any more progress till I get back to Australia.
My end goal is 80kg, 9% bf. I think I can do it in the next 8 months.
When women who knew me in highschool or a few years ago see me, some of their reactions have literally been "OH MY GOD, WHAT HAPPENED TO YOU?" and then they touch me to see if I'm real. A few months ago one of my ex gf's friends who wouldn't give me the time of day in highschool sat down next to me in a 2 seat booth (she obviously wanted me to strike up a conversation so I did) at a club, for like 5 minutes she didn't recognize me and when she did she was throwing her self at me and I had the pleasure of turning her down. From the age of like 13 - 22 I always made that excuse "it doesn't matter how much I eat, I can't gain any weight" - which was exactly that, just an excuse. With the right diet, training, sleep and supplements, you can stack on an easy kilogram per month. And on the other side of the spectrum, I helped my best friend go from 104kg to 76kg, 10% bf at 6ft tall.
In terms of supplemts that I'd HIGHLY suggest and the list bellow, most if not all have proven results
Protein (obviously, but it depends on your goal what blend you take. I like ultra high carb while stacking on mass, then 0% carb, ultra high protein when you start to sculpt/cut down/maintain).
Fish oil as well as flax seed oil.
ZMA (Zinc and Magnesium) - I wont lie, I don't know why, but it's meant to be good for producing testosterone
Tribulus - probably the most important supplement for me because I think I have medium-low natural test levels, some people get no results from it, I get a massive spike in testosterone. I know this based on all the acne I get as well as the random raging hardons, faster facial hair growth and muscle gains . It's a natural herb that is also used to treat ED in older men. Available at any health store.
Some sort of Mens multivitamin. Any will do. I take Centrum.
Milk Thistle - to cleans your liver.
Glucosamine - I've been taking this every day for years, even before I started weights. My family has a history of arthritis and this shit works wonders. Not only that, when you do start to lift, it will play havoc on your joints once you lift big.
Monkey Balm (Tiger Balm's extremely stronger brother) - Not exactly a supplement, but what ever. Rub it on the places you've just smashed. I'll almost always put it on my lower back after dead lifts as well as calves after I've worked them out. It gets EXTREMELY hot, but it makes recovery time a lot shorter.
----- Everything below here is just if you have the extra cash.
SkinB5 - Anti acne. Works a charm. Clears me up so god damn well and counters the acne from the Tribulus. I'd even absolutely recommend to normal acne sufferers. I started taking it well before lifting and it cleared up my skin completely.
Casein Protein - it's slower acting so you can take it before sleep and it repairs your muscles all night.
BSN NoXplode - for before a work out. Gives you a massive rush, extreme concentration and makes you want to go till fail and then beyond. Alternatively, if you can get it (I can't get it because it's banned in Australia because there's something in it that makes you into a fucking BEAST, but I tried it in Thailand), get your hands on Hemo-Rage. I use a different prework out supplement every time I finish one so I don't build a tolerance to one NoXplode, 1MR, Jack3d, Animal Pump are all good. But Hemo-Rage is THE best by far. It gave me a physical sensation like I had a low voltage current going through me and I'd never exercised harder in my life.
Animal Pak - read the ingredients. It's insane. It has absolutely everything a growing body needs in terms of nutrients. I can't recommend anything more highly. Seriously, google it and read the reviews/ingredients.
BSN Cellmass - Post work out recovery drink. I usually have one before sleep. I only take it 3 times a week after an extremely heavy work out.
I NEED TO STRESS THIS POINT: Supplements wont make up for a shitty diet and poor work out routine. They only speed up your progress. They are completely uncessary as people have been getting big and strong for thousands of years with out the help of supplements. But if you can afford them, they will give you that extra edge, but don't rely on them. If you have the extra money, and want that little boost (I'd say it's about 10%), then get them. But don't think because you take them you can sit on your ass and watch more TV, quite the opposite. Since you're spending more money you should be working out even harder!
I know I don't have a physique to brag about yet, but I am proud of my progress. People usually don't believe how far I've come wheN I tell them I used to be as big as a skinny girl. Not only that, but I've come to learn just how shallow women are. Also, not a single guy has picked a fight with me in months, where as I used to get bullied HEAPS when I was smaller. I guess the point of this thread is to those people who say "I can't get bigger no matter what I do." and then we say "eat more, work out more!" and they say "I do! I eat soo much but I just can't get any bigger!!!" - bullshit. You're fucking not trying hard enough and doing it wrong.
Any one have any questions I'd be happy to answer them.
*waits for the barrage of people to give me shit for numerous reasons, things like "lol fag" or 'you're not even big", "nice shorts faggot" (<-- lol I'll accept that one, but they were $2 and all my other clothes were in the wash)*
Point is, I went from A (which was disgustingly skinny piece of shit) to B (which is half decent), so I consider my self knowledgable on the A to B journey and I'm guessing a lot of Zokletians are at point A. So...if you want to get to point B, ask away.
*edit* And yes, that is Angry Monkey from Family Guy tattood on my back. It was a stupid decision made while drunk.

You forgot to mention the massive amounts of southeast Asian Dianabol you've been taking.

Nah man, Dianabol makes people look extremely puffy/bloated. I took a cycle of Anavar in April 2011, and if any one knows anything about Anavar, they'd know it gives you basically no size/mass what so ever, it's so mild that women take it. I got gyno and completely scared off of steroids.

It was a hard journey man. People told me "only go to the gym for 1 hour, if you're not sore after 45-60 minutes you're not working out hard enough" - BULLSHIT. They also said I'd go catabolic if I worked out any longer than an hour, but when I got Animal Pak and T-Bomb II I worked out for 2 1/2 - 3 hours every day after work, 7 days a week. Sometimes doing a 1 hour session before work.
All these experts say do 1 hour sessions, 5-6 days a week. Do you think Spartans only worked out 1 hour per day? Fuck that, no they didn't.
Say what you want, but I'm happy with my results. When I get home, I'm actually going to do a real roid cycle and I'll post results then.

Re: My physical transformation from 2010 to 2012
Strike 1: He has admitted that he has suspicions about supposedly inadequate testosterone levels and that he has taken measures to compensate for that.
Strike 2: He has posted one thread about being "sterilized for life" and another about injectable peptides.
Strike 3: He is a self-admitted drug user who regularly travels to one of the biggest steroid exporting hotspots in the world.
STEROID USER!
The funny thing is that he hasn't improved his physique from day 1, other than the roid bloat in the stomach most of his "progress" is an illusion created by his extreme suntanning (which was no doubt achieved due to another ergogenic aid -- Melanotan II -- a peptide).

Not bad man, not bad. However the amount of muscle probably could have been added in year vs. two

I am. I did a very ineffective cycle of steroids that I lost every single bit of size I gained from it. I got acne scars, etc. I now do everything naturally and have for one full year.
Once I reach 76-77kg naturally, (which I've been told is near my genetic max), I'm going to do a steroid cycle and I'll post a log of it. But until then, tribulus, Animal Pak, and massive work out sessions.
I haven't worked in 12 weeks. I've just been working out as if it were my job. Yoga, Muay Thai, midday nap, 3 hour gym session, marathon chicken breast eating session, massage, sleep, repeat.

1. Yes, with tribulus.
2. Yes, that's also true.
3. False. Train out doors for 12 weeks in the tropics and see what happens to your skin. Melanotan 2, while awesome, started giving me intense migranes/and my freckles became really black, so I stopped it many months ago.
I have used steroids, I said that. But not for a year. Read about Anavar. It's mostly for endurance athletes and for people trying to not get bigger, but increase strength.
Say what you will....but the majority of my weight (58-67, and 70-74) was all natural. Only 67-70 was steroids, and the negative side effects weren't worth the pros.
And about the peptides, they're shit. I couldn't figure them out - you can't use them too soon after eating protein, you need them on an empty stomach, you have to have a sugar spike after it, bla bla bla bla too many rules, too complicated, I still have both vials full at home and can take a photo when I get back.

Re: My physical transformation from 2010 to 2012
Actually, it seems that Mr. McFly was using steroids when the first picture was taken in 2010, because by that time he had already made several threads/posts on this website about clearing up acne, and we all know that he has been posting on this community for years about his individualistic exploits and aspirations; things like having sex with multiple women, having thousands of dollars in his bank account and his pipedreams about becoming a Legionnaire. Things that you would expect a typical steroid user to be doing.
One must wonder as to why this person is so addicted to adrenaline and dopamine. Until, that is, you read that he has had a 'severely fucked up childhood.' This child was exposed to a whole lot of dick when he was a baby.
Yeah, you're taking those steroids alright. You've been taking them for a long time. You take them every week. You even took a whole host of peptides, but you say that they don't work right... That's because those growth hormone analogues you've been taking, like GHRP-6, they actually destroy your pituitary gland. They work for the first few shots, but eventually that sucker gets fatigued and never really comes back 100%. Congratulations, in addition to sterilizing yourself you have also destroyed one of the most important hormone-producing organs in your body, and when you lay off the drugs (voluntarily or otherwise) the shell of a human being that you used to be is going to be broken.
I hope all of this was worth it for you. In the quest to satisfy your insatiable ego you have permanently destroyed your body. You may very well be destined to join a long list of drug-addicted Australians who will die in southeast Asia of heart failure, stroke or acute alcohol poisoning.

Why you hating on Steroid users? To me, its a personal choice...just like recreational drugs. Both have risks. In 10 years what are scientists going to be saying about people that use RC's every weekend? Personally I dont use either, but its pretty much the same thing.
On a side note, I think steroids can be safely administered in a clinical setting by trained professionals (which this obviously isnt). The main reason why steroids have such a bad rap is because high profile athletes take them in extremely high doses with no professional oversight. If you read about guys that have problems with roids, its guys that take endless cycles of ridiculous amounts (and dont do proper post cycle therapies).
Question OP: why dont you have shoes on and who dead-lifts on hardwood floors?

You can criticise that he took a while to gain his muscle, or that his legs are thin or that he took steroids. But at the end of the day he looks pretty damn good. Better than 95% of the forum I'd say.
what's up anyway marty. I've kept up my weight loss thing. 23kgs, 205 days. Hope to have before and after pics myself one day.

I played D1 college baseball in SoCal, so I know tons of guys that took roids. Tons. I've seen it done responsibly and recklessly. If you want to do that: thats cool. If not: thats cool. Its a personal choice. If someone took OTC supplements the same way some people choose to take roids, they would have similar problems.
How throughly do you think GNC or Xyience clinically test their supplements? At least most mainstream steroids have been tested by state-funded programs for many years (d-bol is like 50 years old).
PS-Calves are probably the hardest body part to make gain at...lots of serious lifters get the lightbulb shape...

There's always someone whose gonna complain about "unfair play". Steroids are basically potent foods, a concentrated food I guess. If taking steroids is hacking, then so should food. If food is allowable, why are drugs restricted?

"No one's gonna fuck with me and my monsters" -- no one except your severely burdened heart, that is.

That's actually a pretty funny post, kudos. I just went for a run, so I'm gonna shower or I'll get bacne. A few things though:
Since when is having money "a sign of a steroid user". I had a well paying job, it was how I was able to travel so much. The FFL, that's still a go.
About the peptides, you may be right, there's not enough study on them. But one thing you ARE right about is the massive fatigue that came with them, that's why I stopped using them, but I didn't start to atrophy afterwards, I actually gained a few kg's. So IF they do shut down the pituatary gland, I've dodged that.
I'll respond to the rest of the responses after I have my protein shake and shower.

Question OP: why dont you have shoes on and who dead-lifts on hardwood floors?

Since I've been discharged from the army, I can finally do a cycle. I'll do one the next time I come back to Thailand. There's no way I'd do one in Australia because no one has the PCT drugs.
I don't have shoes on because no one wears shoes in Asia. We wear flipflops, and it's not a hardwood floor, it's like 1inch thick rubber with wood patterned vinyl on top + it's only a 70kg deadlift, we were using a light weight for photographic purposes.

what's up anyway marty. I've kept up my weight loss thing. 23kgs, 205 days. Hope to have before and after pics myself one day.

Yeah man, if you look at it, 30+ months to gain like 16ish kg, it's not too phenominal. My quads are really slow gainers, it's shit.
Btw, that's really good progress. Don't make the same mistake my mate did. He lost too much fat, too quickly while not gaining much muscle, and now he has all this loose skin. Try and gain as much muscle while losing as much fat as possible (so much easier said than done, I know). What's your routine? As in, how the fuck have you lost that much weight?
Btw, cheers man. I've worked very hard for my results.

|
You're right, lots of supplements get taken off the market all the time because they find out they have negative side effects. Lots of preworkout supplements send people sent to the hospital via ambulance
There was a dude here who was on a massive cycle of tren, prop, dbol, etc etc etc. Just everything, and he got to like 98kg with the HUGE quads and massive body, but these tiny little calves. No matter what he did, they just didn't grow.

Thanked.
Any way, I bought roids a year ago and they turned out to be fake. When my friend injected them, he got a massive localized rash. They were said to be sustanon and deca, but I have no idea what they actually were. So I will never do juice in Australia. It's not worth taking the risk.
Oh, and I just remembered a REALLY REALLY good supplement. It's so effective it's been compared to some steroids. It's Driven Sports - Triazole. It's an anti estrogen supplement that works really really well. The name of it escaped me before so I didnt add it. Check it out.

Bench 80kg x 5 reps
Deadlift 160kg x 1 rep.
I'll never have as good a bench as other people my size, I've got a bad shoulder injury that prevents me from lowering the bar all the way down to my chest with any serious weight on it. My tricep bench is stronger than my regular bench. Which isn't normal.
It's slowly getting better by making my rear delt, traps and rotator cuff stronger. If you look at the photo, you can see my rear delt bulging out the back. That's because I work it like 6 days a week to stop my fkn shoulder popping out. I think it looks disgusting, but it helps.

Not at all it looks beastly. You should try push ups with a heavy weight vest on, it's a lot easier on your shoulder, plus it's more explosive.

Hell yes. And it seems more functional as well. I'm going to do this when I get home.

Yeah try it while gripping dumbbells like so, it'll work your chest, triceps, and deltoids more.

Also if you've got shoulder problems do chin ups and pull ups.

Cool, honestly I prefer bodyweight exercises over lifting weights. Also that guy lives in my city, I've actually walked past him in the subway station before lol.

According to his profile he's 44 years old, I'm going to have to say that he's on something.

An interesting thing I heard: In some sports, professional athletes are legally allowed to inject testosterone. The commissions that do the tests allow x amount of testosterone. Hypothetically (I don't know the exact amount) say it's 7mg per day so 49mg per week. Which is the amount a healthy 18 year old male produces. That's the level of testosterone you can't test too much higher than. But a 30 year old athlete doesn't produce 7mg a day any more, it might be like 5mg , and a 35 year old maybe 4mg. So they can inject them selves with 18 year old amounts. This goes for HGH as well (I think your HGH levels half every decade after you turn 27....or something like that). I was told this by a dude here in Thailand who was a contender for The Ultimate Fighter and is a pretty accomplished professional MMA/BJJ fighter. So you've got all these athletes with the hormone levels of fit young 18 year old men.
Fun fact.

Re: My physical transformation from 2010 to 2012
what are you eating these days, OP? I remember you posted a while back about how you were eating 5000 calories a day or something and still couldn't gain an ounce of either muscle or fat. So I'm guessing you had to change your diet somewhat?
