My current phone: Galaxy Nexus. It absolutely smokes every other smart phone on the market, it totally shits on the fagtastic Iphone. Its faster than my laptop and it gets 40+mbps dl speeds and 18+mbps up. It has a 720p display, zero shutter lag on the 5mp camera, takes panoramic pictures, had a 1.2g dual-core, 1g ram, the newest version of Android, Ice Cream Sandwich and blazing fast unlimited 4G LTE. Plus its a Nexus device so it gets updated in a timely fashion, always before any other phone and Google guarantees that it will remain up to date for 2 years after the release date, and pretty much indefinitely (until the hardware can't handle the update, which is basically never with this model) thanks to the rooting community. Basically its the tits.

Excluding that: either my Droid X for practicality or my Sidekick 2 for how excited I was when I got my first phone with data, internet and texting.

Samsung Galaxy _____ / iPhone / HTC ______ / Blackberry

It's a shame really. From what I've seen and used, Samsung produce the best touch screen smartphones out there. After that either Nokia or HTC. Nobody seems to bother with Nokia that much these days.

ive only ever had two phones, my first one died about this time last year after about five years of good service. it was some LG flip phone and it was the tits. i could send texts and make phone calls.

now ive got an LG breeze and its shitty as hell. it just feels low quality, takes forever to switch between its bullshit fancy graphic menus and backgrounds, and has the gayest little screen on it when i drag the touch screen that has my last five calls/texts personified in a little zoo with the contacts names below them. does have a usable camera though, so thats a plus.
