Where can I get custom things made of metal at?

Say I have something I want designed from metal. Its pretty simple but I don't really have the necessary tools to make it who do I contact about making it for me?

Just find a fabrication shop, show them what you want and they should be happy to oblige. If it is fairly simple then just ask around if anyone knows a welder.

Is it cast, last cut, cnc routed, turned, folded from sheet, engraved? Tell us what you want as the end product and we may be bale to point you in a more accurate direction.

Hey OP, if it's a cast part you want, check out Milwaukee Precision Casting. They do rapid prototyping in lots of metals, decently priced, and are good guys to deal with. They do require an IGES or Solidworks part to do it and quote though.

If it's just milled or turned any machine shop could do it.
