Bad day ended with a good note.
This is probably one of those letters you should write and then immedialtey delete, but today sucked.
Don't try to deny it, you know today was horrible. Hot as Hell and nothing to look forward to but lurking the internet and lamenting failures. I keep thinking about all the alternatives to this droll lifestyle. Short of jumping off a building, nothing comes to mind. I decide against it though, and hope for an alternative.
Still don't want to live on this planet anymore. Not with these people around. These bunch of rednecks and fools. People who simply exist to piss me off.
Then I turn on the news and turns out some SUV had a blowout on the highway. Some toddler (improperly seated on someone's lap) was "ejected" out the window. Dead.
Some front seat passenger? Dead.
Five others injured. Hopefully seriously. Turns out a wheelchair in the back is why they didn't want to put the kid in a fucking booster seat. Some crip who probably paddles around Wally Mart every chance they get just to piss off the checkers with overly complicated purchases.
Today sucked, but some people died who probably deserved it. The world is better as a result.
You have to appreciate the little things.
