This may be better off in maths and science, no idea really.
Anyway, I have an interest in electricity. I've done an electrical course at a trade school and I'm alright with my hands. I have loads of tools and meters.
The other day a switch on a heater broke and I had great fun opening it up and fixing it. I realise I would like to do stuff like this more often.
Can anyone recommend some hobbies involving electricity? I'm more interested in the power side of things, rather than electronics, but I am open to suggestions. I'd love to make my own simple devices but I have no idea where to start.

I assume you can read schematic diagrams, so look up simple ones on the Internet (there are many thousands, of varying complexity and function) and start making things. Either order yourself some components or rip apart old electronic devices for their innards. I used to do the same thing, I had a big box full of scavanged components and I would make simple circuits and stuff out of them. But I've not studied electronics for a few years and I've forgotten most of it now.
