Not sure if this belongs here, I looked for the survivalist board but it looks like Zoklet doesn't actually have one. Go figure. Mods please move if this doesn't belong.

This guy gives good advice on how to survive the breakup of a multi-ethnic society. I figure a lot of advice would be relevant to Americans and others who live in a place where your neighbours can turn on you quickly because of racial, ethnic or religious reasons.

Anyone have any advice on how to stockpile antibiotics? Buying them can be tough with the Doctor's union looking over your ass.

Also do batteries really expire (I know there is an expiration date on the packet). Gasoline I think has to be have a preservative added to prevent degeneration, I think kerosene and parrafin lamp oil should keep OK though, right?

Antibiotics? Go to Tijuana...

Gasoline will last 1-3 years without fuel stabilizer (you should just rotate your supply every few months...think LIFO--Last in, First Out)--avoid water contamination from humidity and condensation

Batteries do expire, but they usually last like 5-7 years--they slowly lose power

Kerosene lasts a very long time...like decades if you keep it from getting contaminated with water
