One of the drivers who was about 6'8" and built like a brick shithouse smashed a couple of the older kids up for pissing on his bus, and they fucking deserved it. One of the lads Dads came down to have a word with said driver who just told the Dad to fuck off, which he did.

I saw someone have their head shoved out of the window and completely cut up to fuck as the bus passed right by trees/branches. This kids face got really torn up and he had to go to hospital to get stitches. He still has a massive scar across the front of his face, across the cheek and then extending on to his brow.

Coins, rocks, and other objects were thrown at passers by and cars, one lad allegedly threw a brick out of the window and smashed a windscreen of a moving car but I never saw that one. I saw a bus window get kicked out into live traffic.

Kids beaten up fairly regularly by older kids or groups.

Coin throwing fights, I took one of them above the eye one, fucking hurt like fuck, I beat the guy up who threw it.

If you got verbally abused, you were one of the lucky ones. This wasn't even in a rough area or anything. Kids just go fucking nuts on buses.

Those kids were nasty little fuckers, but for a bit of verbal abuse I think peoples support has gone slightly too far. The kids just need to be taught a stern lesson, but its unlikely anything will get through to them.

I've now lived several years of my life in cities, (NYC, SF, Long Beach and now Boston) and parents in cities are terrible parents. Their children are loud, threatening and disrespectful. Hardly. Our bus driver was an angry old dude who sounded like a growling dog every time he yelled at the kids for getting out of line. And yeah, there was crowd control on those buses - it's part of the school system and at that point in time, you could be disciplined for your behavior there, or better yet for your parents, kicked off altogether.

EDIT: Actually they were fun times. A bully as a bus driver made the rides less boring.
