Dating older people?
I feel like i tend to get pretty good vibes from older women, they just seem a lot more friendly than the women in my old age group (23). I was talking to a woman who was 28 and we seemed to click pretty well. She's mature, patient, likes to smoke weed and is a professional. I find these traits highly attractive, but I worry that people will think I'm some sort of weird person because i'm dating someone 5 years older than me. However, I look really youthful, so I'm always worried that they're nice to me simply because I look like a cute boy as opposed to a handsome adult. I'm told I look 17-18 regularly.
Any of you guys or girls have any experience with dating people older than you?

Don't worry what other people would say. They're just jealous they can't get a cougar

Re: Dating older people?
who cares? 5 years isn't that big of an age difference. plus, older women have less sexual hang ups.

Re: Dating older people?
Lol... 5 years gap.... Dude I'm 28 and dated up to 48, with the median age being around 30 since I was 20.
Depends on the maturity of people that's all. If you like immature brats who flee from responsibility and have next to zero integrity, go for girls under 30.
Women mature faster than guys at puberty but then usually (90% of the time) get stuck in "bitch mode" ("everyone owes me everything"/"I just deserve it because I'm me"/"I'm entitled to do wtf I want") mode for a while.
By the time they reach 30, they get their act together.

No nothing weird at all plus i love older women cause they're more experienced, bigger titties and they just love the young cock!

I dated a woman 4 years my senior for like 4 months. The cons far outweighed the pros. If I were you, I'd give it a try as there's no reason not to, but you'll most likely realise pretty quickly that it's shit.

Re: Dating older people?
My only advice with dating older women is that you recognize that since they are more established they may be looking for children or a serious relationship.

Spend the rest of your life worrying about what other people think, I guarantee that is how you'll reach your ultimate joy.

Re: Dating older people?
Mostly, I have been with women my own age or younger--lets see, wife #1 was four years younger than me, #2 was about my age, #3 was 12 years younger, and my present wife is a few years older.

The older woman I dated was dating me, a younger man, for the exact opposite reason. She said men her own age were boring, stable, and too ready to have a family. She still wanted to just have fun and wanted the other party to get no false ideas of a relationship. If I got her pregnant, she said she'd flush that shit out. And when we fell asleep together after sex, I'd wake up in the morning alone, she'd already have left...every time.
Perfect.

Re: Dating older people?
You were an idiot when you decided, after being divorced, that getting married was worth it in any way, shape, or form.
Unless you were widow'd those three times. In that case, you have my condolences.

Re: Dating older people?
I kinda find it weird dating guys that are younger than me, but recently I seem to be attracting guys about 5 years younger than me. And while I'm only in my mid 20's I still feel a bit awkward about the whole thing - I'm not sure why.
I've always been with older guys, anywhere from 3-10 years older - I'd like to think they're more mature then the younger ones.

Re: Dating older people?
I get what you're saying - but when you get right down to it, 5 years isn't that big of an age gap at all. In fact, it's relatively minor.
I'd say to go for it. If you like her and she likes you, what's the harm? And, fuck what other people think. No matter what, someone is always going to look down on you and someone is always going to look up to you. You can't change that. Fuck 'em.
