Yeah, it kinda reminded me of the sopranos ending for some reason.
And when Skyler looked up and saw Marie, I think that made her want to drown even more. Marie is hotter than Skyler, but she just needs a cock jammed in her mouth.

Re: Breaking Bad Season Five!
Skylar is bordering on confessing to Hank or going even more batshit insane. When Walt told him the person who gave him the watch (Jesse) put a gun to his head weeks earlier, he just didn't care about her reaction. Walter's just digs the knife. We're a quarter of the way through the final season, and I'm full of burning questions
1. Will Mike kill Lydia, or is she the only source for methylamine?
2. Walter is on Jesse's good side, but for how long?
3. Who will Walt use the ricin on?
4. Is someone at Madrigal going to sabotage the investigation?
5. Who will be the target of Mr. Lambert's M60?

From wikipedia:

Methylamine is prepared commercially by the reaction of ammonia with methanol in the presence of a silicoaluminate catalyst. Dimethylamine and trimethylamine are coproduced; the reaction kinetics and reactant ratios determine the ratio of the three products.
|
Judging from that, I don't see why this would be much trouble for Walt to accomplish. Unless there's more to it, which there probably is. Still, I'd like to at least hear Walt explain why they can't just make their own methylamine. In fact, I hope Jesse brings this up just like with the magnet thing.

Pretty sure when Jesse was in Mexico, the cartel chemist was even bitching because Jesse couldn't synth his own methylamine when any first year chem student could. So I'm pretty sure the show has mentioned how easy it is to make... and yet here they are stressing the fuck out over the stuff?
I don't know man, must be some big hidden meaning or something. This is Breaking Bad. This show can't have bad writing, that's jus- SHUT UP SHUT UP SHUT UP SHUT UP SHUT UP SHUT UP MAGNETS BITCHESSSS.

Really?
The thing I noticed about that scene is that it faded to black when the watch (stopwatch?) hit '52'... foreshadowing his death I suppose.
edit: just rewatched the scene, I think it hit '55' , which... is weird...

Re: Breaking Bad Season Five!
Just watched the latest episode. Walt's hubris is building. He asserted himself over Skyler in the bedroom scene and over Mike during the argument with Jesse. As far as he's concerned with Fring dead he is in charge and running shit now, and his overconfidence is showing.
I think eventually Walt might kill Skyler (use the ricin on her and make it look like a suicide, using the breakdown in front of Hank/Marie as a pretext) and then the Brock incident will come out and Jesse will kill Walt. Junior and the baby could move in with Hank and Marie. But the thing is I don't see them not having Hank find out about Walt somehow. Maybe Hank discovers Walt and Walt's last stand is against the DEA?
All we can speculate with any accuracy is the following:
-Walt will make some kind of "last stand" against a powerful enemy.
-Walt will use the remaining ricin to kill someone (Skyler? Hank!?).
-The Brock incident will come out and Jesse will be rightly pissed and move against Walt. Keep in mind it's obvious that Mike has more respect/loyalty for Jesse then Walt by a long shot.
-Hank will discover the truth about Walt somehow. How he respond is anyone's guess.

I'm 14 minutes into the latest episode and I'm finding it hard to continue. I just hate Skylar so fucking much. She is single handedly ruining the show, I really want her to die off...

i think weve all been fooled.
breaking bad is not the story of a teacher turned meth cook but the tragic tale of your run of the mill chemist and the unfolding of his murder of his giganticunt of a wife.

It's also interesting to keep in mind the intro of Season 5 Episode 1. Walt's hair had grown back (or was placed there for disguise purposes), and it was his 52nd birthday according to the fake ID he was using.
He was sad and alone and far from home - meaning his entire family is out of the picture. Probably Skyler was killed by someone else (or Walt himself, maybe) and most likely his children are staying with Hank and Marie. Who he's going after with the M60 is still up in the air. Hank, Mike, or even Jesse.
I, for one, really enjoyed the last episode. I love the direction the show is heading in. It's very interesting to see Walt's confidence start to outweigh his rational thinking and also to see Skyler start to break down.

Re: Breaking Bad Season Five!
Mike clearly has a snitch in the DEA, i doubt it's Gomez but you never know with writers they could changethe plot around and with him being posted to Mexico in the previous series this kinda de bunks that idea. But...there's the dude that offered Hank the promotion, he may be affiliated with Mike. As for Marie, she is annoying as shit and is no way better looking than Skyler. When she was doing that whole, Lies, attention seeking/robbing thing it made me want to kill her more, she's so fucking annoying it's untrue.
As for Walt's last stand, i think his world will come crashing down, someone in his family will be hurt or killed and the DEA find out he's Heizenburg. Jesse will die saving Walt and Walt in turn will see there's nothing left for him but to spend the rest of his cancer ridden life in a jail cell or take vengeance hence persuing Jesse's killer(s). Walt avenges his family and jessee but dies in the process. Some time later Skyler finds the tape Walt made in the first episode saying how everything he did was for them along with a load of money, emotional ending, then that's it.

It'd be awesome if Walt gets a prison sentence at the end of the show and gets sent to Oz where he's fucked up the ass by Schillinger.

I can't think of a single female character on this show that hasn't been a massive cliche of everything that is godawful about women. Lydia is prissy stuck up nagging, manipulative and conspiratorial bitch trying to get Mike to off his men to protect her and an emotional wreck. Jane was a nagging, gold digging bitch of a heroin junkie and an emotional wreck.

Re: Breaking Bad Season Five!
All I thought the entire time when Skylar was being a bitch laying in bed and Walt was out there with Hank and Marie at the table, was Walt had to want to rip open her half-open top and just fuck her on the table right there with Hank's crippled ass watching. For some reason she looked incredible hot and fuckable in that moment.

Re: Breaking Bad Season Five!
I couldn't help but notice that toward's the end of the episode, it seemed like the writer's put alot of the viewer's focus on the fact that Skyler was smoking. I mean they were focusing the camera's where you could see the long cloud of smoke leaving her mouth and shit. And then she relights a brand new one right away. And then Walt goes to sleep and the ticking start's. Maybe Walt has already put the poison in one of her cigarette's and when the ticking stopped it symbolized the end of her life?
Like if I remember correctly their argument took place maybe right after the half way point of the episode and Walt want's to kill that hoe now I think. So he very well may have planted a poisoned cig. And when Walt wakes up she will be dead in the chair she was sitting in, then like I guessed in a previous post he will proceed to hang her somewhere because the producer's were foreshadowing a "hanging" I think when Skyler was starting to floss in the last episode. I mean it showed her pulling the floss around her finger till it started turning blue almost.
So Walt did have time to plant the poison in her cig's after the argument. And that's exactly why he hid it inside that outlet to use for anyone who got in the way of his wishes. I know it's a bold guess but it's just what came to my mind. Also I think that Mike probably know's about how Walt let Jane die and he also know's Walt is the one who poisoned the kid. Mike will use this to turn Jesse against Walt at some point i'm thinking.

Vince Gilligan (the creator) seems uninterested in a movie thus far.

Cranston hinted in an interview recently at a Breaking Bad movie. Any truth to that?
[Laughs] I've learned a long time ago to never say never, but it is definitely not, in any way shape or form, on my personal radar. We've been given this wonderful opportunity to know exactly when we're going to end and to be able to work toward it. You don't want to be George Foreman and keep coming out of retirement. I'm going to tell every goddamn last bit of story I can possibly get in there with these next 16 episodes. I want it to end with the last 10 seconds of picture on the very last episode and I want– My fervent dream is for this show to end and for people to say, 'Oh my God, that was what I hoped for and I'm going to miss it – now, what's on next?
|
As for Walt dying, did you not hear his cough at the Denny's in the first episode's intro? He coughs in the mirror and pops a few pills; that would seem to me like his cancer has come back. Also, he had just bought a fucking BFG and a fuckload of ammo, so what do you think he's going to do with that, go to a turkey shoot? Gilligan says, "You go to the trouble of buying an M60 machine gun in a Denny's bathroom, you probably have a pretty pressing and severe use for it at hand" about this. Further hinting about shit going down also happened with the Scarface scene they showed. "Everyone dies in this movie." Ominous, no?

I was surprised he didn't kill her in the first place, even if they did need the methylamine. It seemed like a "half measure" to me, and sure enough, his half measure came back to kick him in the ass (the fake tracker she planted). Should have taken a full measure, just like the advice he gave to Walt a few seasons ago.
Also, I lol'd when he said "that's what I get for being sexist," (or something along those lines) because he gave her a pass the first time.

This entire episode was focused around Walt's increasing confidence and Skyler's recession. It's very important.

You all need to consider, that the writers will do a shitty job from next episode until the end.
( ie. like the next episode will try and cash in on the Parkour craze with Jesse doing Parkour trying to escape Hank )

You are right, women's sole purpose on Earth is to give pleasure, bear children and keep their fucking dumb mouths shut.
Why does everyone think Walt will kill Skylar? I just can't see him doing that and as for him poisoning Barok or whatever the kid's name is, he didn't. He ate some wild flower or some shit called "lady of the valley", a plant that just so happens to be in Walt's backyard. It's interesting to note such things as Skylar tightening the floss around her finger and other things but are all these really signs for what is going to happen?

Re: Breaking Bad Season Five!
I see Walt Jr smashing that new Challenger into a telephone pole and projectile ejecting himself through the windshield and dying.

Great Dodge Chrystler Jeep commercial sunday
Mike has gotten better, but Walt, sometimes the dialogue is just fucking dumb. Like the doughnuts thing. The stupid music. And them watching Scarface and the conversation there. It just takes away from the show and seems like selling out to pop culture.

And wtf? No suspense with Hank yet. This is the last season Hank should FINALLY be closing in on Walt but nothing.

Hmm it WAS "Mob Week" on AMC when they played that. Free advertising once again.

I guess. I remember last year they were saying it would be like 2 years, then they come out this season. I wonder if it was just because people paid them to make commercials. I think a lot of people would have lost interest if they waited that long but this isn't much better. The best scene last season was Hank asking Walt about Gales notebook. I was sweating for Walt. But now Hank seems just as clueless as always. I guess they are going to wait another year before that starts to heat up.

I'm with ya bro. It just seems too obvious to me that Walt eats it in the end. I'm guessing that he winds up alienating/killing everyone he knows. That he winds up alone and sad but alive and continuing on as king pin. Like how Gus lost his partner and Walt got Jesse to kill Gale. Gus had lots of money and power but he lived alone in a big house. I think that's the angle that it leaves us with. Walt "wins" eveything he ever wanted but then sits alone a dinner on his birthday waiting for a gun deal as par for the course.
Just doesn't seem like they would reveal that much plot with foreshadowing. Like with the bear, you didn't even know it was in his pool, then another episode you got to see it's burnt face, and another episode you saw hazmat looking dudes walking around, until finally you find out that it had nothing to do with Walt or an explosion at his house. It was just an airplane collision directly overhead. Who could have seen that coming? If the obvious answer is Walt dies in the end, then I am skeptical that he will. We know cancer will kill him eventually but I'm betting he's still standing at the end of the show.
