Retake college course or just reuse your textbook independently ?
I took "Intermediate Algebra" a couple years back and then quit school. I did rather poor towards the end because I didn't put in proper effort and started getting lost. I want to start taking night classes and figure I should take College Algebra with review first. I want to be prepared and know all the fundamentals that you would be expected to know, I still have my textbook from Intermediate Algebra.
Anyone follow along with a textbook without an instructor, and pickup the information? I could supplement checking my "homework" by taking online quizzes about the concepts learned each chapter. I know I would not have had the will-power to do this in the past, if I was not expected to go to class I wouldn't have learned a thing.
Not sure what policy the school has on re-taking classes, it might be worth it if they discard your old score for the new one. Seems like I got a C.
