I think the original was actually better than the source version.
But that's probably because I spent upwards of 4 or 5 years playing the shit out of it after getting stoned with mates.

Still, damn good fun.

I haven't played DoD:S in years but last night I played a CS:S zombie map for hours. I haden't played that in a while either so it was a good throwback.

Used to be my favourite source game but got too easy. Once you get good with the rifles you can completely dominate, like 60+ kills and single figure deaths. Kind of dead now though, at least UK servers, literally one or two full at off hours.

Would have a game with some of you guys but don't have a PC right now.

man its hard to get good with the rifles! I only have about 20hrs invested into the game tho. Busting a headshot with the German rifle is satisfying as fuck. I like being bazooka man, the carbine is dope and fun, bazooka funnest class imo.

Yeah my play time for it on steam is like 700 something hours. Rifles it's all about strafing, kar is one shot kill so it's just good aim needed and strafe between shots. Garand is better when you get the hang of it, just need to keep moving but stay still when you shoot. Thompson is fun too but a bit of a noob gun because of how overpowered it is. And yeah love taking out MGs with bazooka and just seeing like the black mark where it exploded.
