Advice for the Newbie

Okay, I'm new here. I loved Toste, and was sad to see it go. I'm not completely new to the contents of BI either, but I want to take the little things I have done (IE: Stolen Yu-Gi-Oh cards and other small things) to the next level. Yes, I am younger (13), but I still want to do more stuff. If you guys could just give me some good ideas, I would appreciate it. Also, I don't want to steal because it would make me "cool," but rather just because I can't get it otherwise.

Then shove 'em up your ass. If you dont, its straight out fail.

Also, how about stealing the rolling band from the checkers at your local store. Just take a knife and rip it out of the machine and walk out with it hanging on your shoulder. That would be bad ass and all your friends would respect you.

No one has ever dared to steal the rolling band from the checking machines. You would be the first one to do it and become a hero.

Your vision will fail, young one, like every 12-13 year olds that has come to BI in search of power, hacks and procrastination. Take this advice from a 19 year old who discovered BI waaay back in 2002 or 2003.

The great thing about being 13 is you can't get into much trouble. Go for broke, trial and error, see what works.

Don't huff Raid, though. That wouldn't be too smart.

Going out to commit a crime without an objective is senseless.

So, find something you want. It can be anything, it doesn't matter what.

Now, devise a plan to obtain it.

Execute your plan...

If you succeed, congratulations, you're now a little bit richer than you were before. If you failed, it's no big deal because of your age. Refine your plan, and try again.

Oooh, I used to HATE you little preteen Yu-Gi-Oh card stealing fuckers when I worked AP. We used to watch a couple hundred dollars in that crap run out of the store every day, and the managers still refused to lock it up somewhere, rather than keep it right near the front door where little kids could run in and run out with it.

But welcome to the forums all the same. And hell, man, stealing *does* make you cool if you're good at it. If you really want to learn, only pay partial attention to Bad Ideas...95% of it is just troll crap.

So are you trying to learn more about burglary? Shoplifting? Fraud? What? Nobody around here is just going to start naming off good ideas to get you started unless you're specific.

Finally, somebody who wants to help instead of being a dick.. It seems like he wants to continue shoplifting but if not, post what you want to advance to so we can help. if so, just keep doing what you are doing, but just go a little bit bigger each time. move up from trading cards to slightly more bulky items/steal more of what you steal... stuff like that. build confidence until you can steal anything you want + see . steal anything you see that looks like you can, regardless of if you really want it or not, just to build up skill/confidence.
