Excessive Saliva

So I have a cold/sore throat.

and my mouth is creating a crazy amount of saliva, to the point I gotta spit it out like every minute, and I cant sleep because of this, when I swallow it I start feeling sick, I even puked because of this when I woke up.

any tips please. Im going on 2 days of no sleep over this...

Have some salt? Get less hydrated? I would suggest above all else going to a doctor, lest you become dehydrated from my advice and die.
