That sucks, I always hated when they did that when I had braces. One time the guy was putting a new wire in, and didn't even cut the thing at all, but I didn't notice til I got home. All I did when this happened was get some pliers and snip it off, kind of tricky, but worth it.

It happens at the left side quite often I can usually just pop it back in myself after trying for a while, but everytime I eat properly it just comes out again. Now it's come out of both sides and the right side wire is really long and hard to get back in.
