Why the hell do we need a sticky? I don't think a running list is nearly important enough to stick. If you want to do that sort of mindless posting, you can do so with an unstuck thread. If that's not self-important enough for you, Twitter, Facebook, and MySpace (among others) have lovely websites for you to post menial drivel (erm...pardon me..."updates") with other equally qualified wankers.
