I once had a friend. He'd always say LOL like in every freakin message on the internet.

Me: going to school tmrw?
D: maybe, lol
Me: ok, can you stop saying lol for once

Me: cause its fucking annoying, you even say it in class.

then i gave a long speech about people who over use LOL

and he replied with this

gets me pissed off, thats why you never see me use those damned letters.

people who use lol for no reason is mentally sick, and should be shot im afriad to say. Saying LOL too much is cancer causing too, im like, DAMN.

I get it, OP. It's seriously fucking irritating. I used to talk to this guy who used it like it was punctuation. I swear he said "lol, lol" because he was so used to putting it after everything that he forgot that *was* what he was saying.

So one day I told him that 'lol' is not a punctuation mark.

Of course he says 'lol'.

This is why I *used to* talk to him.

I may say it when I really mean it; i.e., am really doing it, but most of the time I don't want to because it's so fucked everyone will assume I don't mean it.
