Default Insert Disk? What Disk?

Ok Iam chilling back in the hospital for a bit so I took 2 more laptops and a tower to work on. I fixed the first one relatively easily but I have absolutely no idea what's wrong with the tower.

o_0 What? According to the user this pop-up is consistent and comes up every time he turns on the computer. He doesn't remember anything triggering it and just usually keeps spamming cancel until he goes on his way and it disappears around the 15th time.

Anyone?

Thanks in advance

Try this:
http://answers.yahoo.com/question/in...5182940AAay5UK

Or just check any HP related product. The HP Assistant has some files missing and it needs a simple reinstall.

I think it might be related to Printer/Scanner. Unless he is using a laptop (made by Hp).

Good suggestion.

If that doesn't work, hit Browse and read off the name of the file it wants. Google that filename and it should give you some clues.

Theres a few ways to fix this.

Uninstall It.

Reinstall it.

Or disable Startup Entries, but it'd still have that issue.

I got for uninstall it.It has no viable means IMO.

Check the registry locations for startup: HKLM (and HKCU) /software/microsoft/windows/currentversion/run

I use CCleaner's startup option to disable all HP products. Seems to work.
