Any one tried it? I went through a bottle of the stuff a couple months back. Its pretty different, it gives a strong warm rush for about half an hour along with skin flushing from hell, and I mean beat red too.A few people that I gave some to said it made them feel horney too

But my god the taste.....its like powdered ammonia*shudders*
Its not exactly amazing but its good stuff to have around though

Is that the stuff in artificial sigar? I got a few boxes of it when giving Joe Pedo's thing a shot, but is did nothing for me.

While it is commonly labeled as phenylethylamine, it is more accurately called phenethylamine (no yl). There was a thread at &T about it by...TheBlackPope? Maybe. Anywho, not to be confused with phenylalanine (the artificial sweetener stuff) (On a side note, some, myself included, have gotten results from phenylalanine, it will not work from sweetener. If anyone wants to know why, just ask).

Long story short, without an MAOI (A or B, though I've heard B inhibitors are less dangerous) it's not very good. The OP got results from ~3g of the stuff, some kinda weird (yet recreational) stim buzz. The thread went to the direction of how to chemically alter the phenethylamine (aka PEA) by N-alkylations to produce less destructible (a la MAO) chem.

TL'DR: Nope, not worth you time unless you're a chemist.

i have an ounce of the stuff i bought off eBay & when i take 2 grams of it on an empty stomach, the high feels like i'm on an explosive MDMA trip for about 30 minutes... and then i get sleepy, fall asleep, and wake up feeling like elephant shit.

it'd be recreational if it'd only last longer.

ehh, you don't need to be a chemist to purchase a g of syrian rue extract online - MAOI's + PEA can be extremely enjoyable. I think that PEA is actually mostly taken care of by MAO-B, so you don't need to complicate the experiment by taking an un-selective MAO Inhibitor. If you have the luxury of selegeline, that would make for an especially enjoyable experiment.
