Okay, fuck the new Eminem, fuck any other rap album this year so far. This is going to be THE rap album of 2009, regardless of what the charts or sales say. The Wu is supposedly taking it back to the 36 Chambers "lo fi" style.
fucking awesome. although, every subsequent album after Enter the 36 Chambers has been a dissapointment, and the wacky shit Rza is doing is really sad. (comon, Bobby Digitial? lol wtf is that)

But hey it might be decent.
Hey that's not true, Wu-Tang Forever was an unbelievable album. And while I agree about Bobby Digital being crap for the most part he has some alright songs, eg:
01. Redemption (Feat. RZA)
02. Kill Too Hard (Feat. Inspectah Deck, U-God and Masta Ace)
03. The Abbot (Feat. RZA)
04. Harbor Masters (Feat. Ghostface Killah, AZ and Inspectah Deck)
05. Sheep State (Feat. RZA)
06. Radiant Jewels (Feat. Raekwon, Cormega and Sean Price)
07. Supreme Architecture (Feat. RZA)
08. Evil Deeds (Feat. Ghostface Killah, RZA and Havoc)
09. Wise Men (Feat. RZA)
10. I Wish You Were Here (Feat. Ghostface Killah and Tre Williams)
11. Fatal Hesitation
12. Ill Figures (Feat. Raekwon, MOP and Kool G Rap)
13. Free Like ODB (Feat. RZA)
14. Sound The Horns (Feat. Inspectah Deck, Sadat X and U-God)
15. Enlightened Statues (Feat. RZA)
16. NYC Crack (Feat. RZA)
17. One Last Question
Rap is almost as gay as white people who listen to it.

Dammit Liquid Swords was awesome, best album ever. Wu Tang Forever was more than ok, it was borderline epic.

Wu-Tang Forever is fucking awesome.
8 Diagrams is so fucking underrated. I luv this album. I'd rank it 3rd of their 5 albums.
Iron Flag - I didn't really like this one either but it has a few good songs
The W - It's a solid album.
You don't like the solo albums? Ironman(amazing album), Return to the 36 Chambers: The Dirty Version (I suppose I can understand if you aren't a dirty fan)
,Only Built 4 Cuban Links (How can you hate this classic?), No Said Date (Masta Killa's debut solo, it's amazing), Supreme Clientele, Fishscales
Deck and RZA tend to hide some amazing songs inbetween mediocre ones on their albums. Don't sleep on them. U-God has his moments on Golden Arms Redemption.

U-God's not such a good rapper but my farts would sound good over some of those soul beats. And yeah, Ghostface is probably the most consistent rapper from the Wu-Tang.
this thread is fail. Every wu album leading up to the W was a classic. This includes the Killer Bees and the Wu-Bangas. Not only did the clan succeed as a group, but the members' singles were also classics. RZA, GZA, method man, inspectah deck have never produced a bad record, though they have tracks that aren't worth much. Raekwon slipped off after Only Built 4 Cuban Linx, which was by far one of my favorite albums. Ghost face spits fire to this day, though his style takes getting used to. U-god wasn't even that bad. Masta Killa was ok, and ODB was, well, odb.
Rza's production of gravediggaz was good, though the first was much better then the rest. The Killer army, the wu fam, all the affiliates produce quality music to this day. Just need some research.
8 Diagrams was shitty, has 2-3 good songs. Rzas digi food was a dissappointment though listening to it again has me feelin it a bit.
People don't like 8 diagrams because it departs from their old sound. It was an awesome album though, I'll admit there was a little too much singing and "Starter" was a good awful song but other than that the album was amazing.
Cut U-God some slack, he has some disgusting rhymes here and there. His bad ones are tolerable, I'd rather listen to him than Lil Wayne's cracked out generic verses.

It's pretty good, the segues between each song were alright but now that I've heard them I'll inevitably skip them every time in the future. I like the less-polished sound to it, definitely more like 36 Chambers. Coulda done with some GZA though, just sayin....
