Default Rooting out the malice

How would one go about finding out if their computer was being remotely accessed by somebody? A third party using a method such as a Trojan key logger, or really any way that could monitor or control a person's system? Any helps appreciated.

You can usually do this with a process monitor/manager. Use something OTHER than the OEM process manager. It's too easy to hide processes from it.

Look into "HijackThis". It can help.

Otherwise, start up from a linux CD (Hiren's Boot CD is best for this) and run a whole lot of scans with different antivirus software.
