Help with torrents

Ok, so if someone were to download a torrent for the sims 3 after they have completed the download of the torrent, how would they then open the game and play. Let's just say for example this person used bittorrent for the download of the sims 3, and we will say this file happens to be an .iso file.

Download and install Daemon Tools and install it. Then run it and right click on its tray icon and choose Virtual CD/DVD-Rom>Set number of Devices>1 Drive.

Then right click on Daemon Tools tray icon again, go to Virtual CD/DVD-Rom>Device>Mount Image. Locate said Sims 3 iso, enjoy.

yeah, just use a program to mount it. i use demontools, but there are many more out there.

note that there are other image formats too: iso, mds, mdf etc

Alot of these torrents come with readme's with instructions.

I'm getting really sick of seeing this topic come up over and over again. Someone sticky instructions.

Talk of pirating is no no.

...but say you have a back up, you mount the ISO and go from there.
