This thread is a running list of all the news websites and humor websites that people check every day. For example, every day, I check the following (and find more great links through them):

FARK.com - a great running list of stupid news from around the world.
Reality Carnival - a daily-updated list of interesting finds from the net with a sciency bend.
The Onion - Satirical news that spoofs news, life.
Cracked.com - a humor website, with David Wong of pointlesswasteoftime.com and others.
The Huge Entity - Articles on existence, reality, drugs, paranormal phenomena, and more.
Metaverse - a relatively exhaustive list of links, divided into a variety of great categories (games, science, comics, etc.)
Totse.com - Safe haven for visionaries and paranoids

I like the news, I like looking at the new shirts at jinx, thinkgeek has some awesome devices (I usually don't buy from there, but use it as a gallery and buy from a cheaper site), I like to waste time at work, and wikipedia teaches me something new every day.
