The island is huge, everything is in real-time, weapons are all customizable, the AI actually looks pretty good, the guns have a realistic ballistic system, over fifty vehicles, Hardcore mode is hardcore, there's four-player co-op, there's online multiplayer, the environment is fully destructible, and the visuals are sexy.

Hopefully it will be less buggy than Arma 2 which still hasn't fixed things from 8 years ago.

I played the demo of that and it was a mess. I was willing to look past the awful controls and horrid performance if the gameplay was good. The second enemy I encountered allowed me to walk up right beside him and he did nothing. I started pushing my "body" against his to see if he'd realize I was there and nothing. Finally I had to get dead center in front of him and he fired and killed me. This was after having to deal with the fact that changing the resolution got rid of all the tooltips on the screen, which I might not have needed in any normal game but since it uses a ridiculous control scheme it was absolutely necessary that I see what key did what.

What a shitty game. Hopefully this turns out better.

OFP was pretty cool, bit buggy even with the patches. ARMA i got sick of before i finished.
