Yeah, I don't know man. Even if she DID want sex and invited him over for sex, it is just as much her responsibility to get what she wants as it is for him to get what he wants. No one is to blame here more than the other if she was just using him for a booty call.

Except, she acted all lovey dovey and shit and then when he confronted her, she said "meh, don't want to be all tied down" which is pretty much an uncool thing. Everyone should make their intentions clear whether they are into someone romantically or just looking for some fun, otherwise it's dishonest and can be basically called 'using someone to get what you want' which isn't a very nice thing to do. Not very nice at all.

And anyway, I think women can definitely just want someone to share a bed with. Women are emotional creatures. If she had just broken up not long ago, and was still unsure about relationships, it is not too far fetched that she'd just simply feel lonely and want the company of someone. If that were the case though, she should have been honest about it and said "I feel lonely" rather than "I miss you" Though, she might not have the sense right now (due to being a git, or just overburdened with emotions at the moment) to be able to tell the difference.

That's total nonsense. Sleep next to someone for weeks, months, or years and then try sleeping alone. It feels pretty off. Getting a proper sleep is fairly important and it's not a difficult thing to mess with for quite a few people.
