I made some smoke mix today, (60/40, KNO3/sugar) and I wonder how I have lived for so many years without this pyrotechnical staple.

I payed 9 AUD for 500g, got it on ebay.
In bunnings, the only stump remover I could find was made up of butrsomethingsomething acid, it was liquid and came in veeery small bags.

But yeah I've been wandering the garden section of bunnings for a while, checking all the possible potassium-nitrate fertilisers etc. I finally just got fed up and ordered it online.

Its unlikely to be found in bulk at common home improvement stores... Online I can get 50lbs for about $70. Probably cheaper if I looked around more.

I got two 50lb bags waiting for me at PGI, paid $35 a piece for them

I still have a good half a bag of some nice crystaline stuff and some rock hard prills < which I'm trying to burn through as fast as possible with out wasting it all on smokers.
