I have never had a female friend that has in anyway help me meet new girls.

Maybe if they did, I would be open to having platonic female friends, but no. Not only do they think they're too good for me, they think all their friends are too good for me as well.

Now if that's not a slap in the face, I don't know what is.

Well, I've helped a couple of my guy friends meet girls I know, and get together, and I know lots of girls do that... so maybe there is something about you they really just don't like.

Maybe there is just something about you that makes them think you wouldn't make a decent boyfriend, or yeah, some girls are like that with the whole charity thing. Maybe it's something that they think would just impair your ability to be a good boyfriend, like they think you might be too clingy, or something like that. It could be a lot of things...
