Designing and selling shirts

Ive actually had this idea for a while, but never knew how to put it into action. I imagine a can go to a screening shop and print out a couple of shirts for me, but how would i go about marketing them?

If there are any sort of street festivals coming up, just create a simple board sampling your work and sell them for relatively cheap prices. $5 - $10 Shirts will go a long way. If you want to go deeper, pick what type of buyers will be at that particular event.

It sounds basic, but you can pull in quite a bit of money from just this.

Well the problem with that is i dont think theyd be very accepting of me selling shirts of curious george tying up, or smoking a bong.

Yeah, if you can't show curious geroge doing those things, yah not gonna sell anything...

Wash the tee shrts before putting the print on.
Make a book of prints & do them as you sell them.
Old TV show themes picture would sell well, Six Million dollar man etc.

I saw another idea last week.
You know how soccer players lift the bottom of their shirt up over their head & run around blind when they score a goal?

They were printing a Death face or Frankenstiens face etc, upside down inside the Tee shirt.
When the person lifted up their plain tee shirt & done this, it looked like a monster running around.

It would scare the piss out of small children.
