My freind got rejected by a girl because he didn't have a myspace or facebook.
Is having facebook a social norm now?Don't answer that.

I think it's stupid to assume that we all have to have myspace or facebook just to be considered by a person.
Some of us have boring lives,I could imagine the people who never wanted a facebook but broke and made a page due to constant pressure from their peers.
recently unemployed,transferring schools so we don't want to be bothered gossiping with strangers about things that are nonsense to us.
If I need to speak to my freinds I'll just pick up the phone and call them.
If you like me give me your number or we can speak face to face.
I think facebook/myspace is only good for spreading gossip and/or meeting sluts.
Does anyone on use facebook to get chicks?
If so,and all I have to do is think of some witty shit to say on my facebook every week to get some ass,than I might consider it.

But I have a facebook and a myspace to stay in touch with people I can't always talk on the phone with, people who live far away and stuff. Plus if you have lots of time to waste, it's kind of good for that sometimes...

I agree with Namaste. If a girl rejected you because of something so trivial as that, she wasn't worth it in the first place.

I'll admit I kind of caved to the pressure to create a Facebook account, as it seemed it was in the news everyday back then. The only things I use it for are to look at pics of hot girls and sell/buy textbooks.

I've had a Myspace for years, and I just made a Facebook. I've met a few girls this way, it's kinda good in case someone's setting you up on a blind date or something, so you can get an idea of what they look like and their interests before you meet them. I also use it to find old friends of mine.

I'm guessing there was more to the rejection then just not having a myspace. She probably didn't like him from the start and made up some lame excuse.
