this sounds stupid, but whats keeping me alive is those mega millions lottery tickets,

when i do buy them, i can't kill my self until i know the winning lottery numbers,

what if you buy a mega millions ticket, and kill your self, then find out that ticket was the jackpot winner?

and then you would killed your self over nothing.

so i keep buying and going crazy with them.

Here's a better question: Why kill yourself?

Think about it. You have an eternity to be dead, but you only live once. Might as well keep going until the inevitable strikes. What's the worst that could happen? Are you going to look back 20 years from now and be like "Dammit, I should have killed myself back then when I had the chance!"?

That's ridiculous. Just keep on living and stop being afraid of life. As long as you're alive, there's potential for improvement. If you're really that bad off, then dedicate yourself to a noble cause or shave your head and move to Tibet and join the monks.

If I did want to kill myself, I'd say that the embarrassment (both for me not being able to handle life, and to my family for having a kid who killed himself) would probably stop me. IMO, suicide is stupid though. If you're at (or feeling like you're at) the bottom of the barrel, the only place to go is up.

I'm not sure about the least painful or pleasant, but I reckon some form of drug overdose would be most pleasant. You people say this because lifes good for you, for some, life is terrible and they have to face chronic pain, or a range of mental disorders, or being disabled or otherwise inhibited. Things that stop them from enjoying life, to them, life is worse than sleeping forever
