The Arctic Monkey's new album is pretty kick ass

Yeah. So I'll probably get shot down for this one but it really does kick a hell of a lot of us. They've moved away from fast, punky, pub rock with lyrics about clubbing and Sheffield and moved into a new abstract, languid, almost psychedelic, mood. It's got dark sexual imagery at it's heart and is probably their best album yet.

I highly recommend it.

Although I have a feeling you guys aren't into Arctic Monkey's so much.
Whatever. At least download it.

I had Whatever People Say I Am..., it was alright. It got boring really quick though...

Just heard Crying Lightning, I think I like there first album better.

I saw them live this summer and all the new songs sucked ass, no energy that the old ones had. It was like being sung a lullaby, which is not inherently bad, but if I'm at a goddamn festival I don't want to be sung asleep.

One of the big dissapointments, thank god there was another good punk group playing.
