I've had a pair of those for three years. I work construction and wear these boots everyday. In snow, mud, rocks, and everything. Three years owned and they still look as good as they did the day I bought them. Granted they are broken in and worn but I still have at least a year or two left in them. They require little care. (A little snoseal or leather conditioner every couple months) If you want durable boots you have to pay a little more but they are worth every penny.
Military Surplus is generally garbage. They will fall apart after any hard wear. Go quality. You won't regret it.
