So ketamine

My dad is a vet, and last night he comes home to me says i got pulled over for speeding and i was on ketamine. I was shocked because hes my mentor, and i started asking him things and he said it started when his mom died which was about 3 years ago. So now my dad might loose his practice. Im kinda fucked cause now ill have to pay for school if it goes bad when hes on trial with the vetinary college today. Could loose home, family and such that this could rip my family apart.

Just wondering does anyone know someone who had a situation like this? and how serious they will penalize him?
And i think he took the shot after he got pulled over for speeding cause hes fucking idiot.

make sure he knows he rights and looks back in his mind on getting arrested just in case his rights were violated.

secondly, if you can somehow prove that he WASNT getting them from his practice,then he would be alright, in theory.

Sam you greasy caveman, I didn't know vets weren't allowed to work on humans I was in jail and the doctor asked me who sewed me up since it was such a butcher of a job and I told them it was sam I didn't know he was gonna lose his practice.

Im guessing it went somewhere along the lines of "You were doing 45 in a 30 mile an hour zone. and it looks like your on something." (your dad tries to explain that hes not) "Look bud, we know your on something so we can either test you at the station or you can come clean and we wont write you up for it" fucking cops and their mind games i dont blame your dad for getting burned for that at all.
I would reccomend putting up a sincere defense in court for him because you are his son and mention the college and how your future would be hindered if he got in major trouble. maybe let some tears come to your eyes.

About three years ago I got pulled over while driving on ketamine (I was speeding a bit). I wasn't really fucked up or anything but obviously on something; took me to the station and did a drug test etc. In the end I lost my license for two years and had to pay about a £500 fine.

I'm not sure what the legality of it is over there (I assume you're Canadian), over here it is a class C (lowest level of controlled drug) so the penalties aren't that bad, I've been caught with 5/6g on me and just got a caution. I can see how using his vet supplies might have some repercussions though.

Dear raptor jesus you're ignorant. In Canada ketamine is used in dental surgery. Researchers use ketamine in certain circumstances to put both lab animals, depending on what analysis needs to be done on them afterwards. Vets can use K on animals, but that can't take it themselves.

So hes not loosing his license, he might have to go to rehab for 1-2 months, only thing is i think because he went to the board himself he lightend the charges. He has locked the control drugs in a safe gave his practice partner the keys and so on.
