My mums cat is something like 8kg, it tries to swallow dry food whole at 100mph and then throws up and eats some more. It swallowed about 2/3 of a kebab stick once before it realized it wasn't food, then sat out in the rain looking half dead until i found it and pulled it out.

Thanks! The *papers* say he's a purebred Bengal. But my suspicion is that he's not REALLY a cat, but more of a lapdog, working undercover 
Bengals are so not like typical cats. They're very vocal like the siamese, but they require a shitload of attention and can get very destructive if they get bored.
