Using drugs to calm down children

My kid is really hyper, and I really can't take it. I think that a little weed smoke blown in his face or maybe a little vodka in his juice can do him good. I'm worried about long term harm though, can doing something like this cause long term harm?

OP, My dad used to give me a bit of alcohol to help me sleep. I don't remember it, and I had no long term effects. Well besides turning into a raging alcoholic. If your going to do it, a small amount of alcohol is the way to go.

Then again you could just let him get some exercise and he will get tired the normal sane way.
