my probation offer is up to something

so i have two cases. one of them i just got sentence for last month. the second one i get sentenced for this month. they're kind of from the same general incident they just happen to be in two different jurisdictions.

so a long time ago when i was arrested i bonded out of jail for the charge in the second case, but they just transferred me to jail in another county for the first case. after about a week my lawyer got me out on supervised pre trial release.

so i was on suppervised pre trial release for the case that just ended. for some reason my probation hasn't kicked in yet. i assume it's a paperwork thing, but even after my sentencing my pre trial release officer wants me to keep coming in. i know i could fight it and not have to but i just said whatever my probation is gonna start soon with this guy so i better not piss him off. i can spare 10 minutes a week.

so i went in for my weekly meeting. usually i just fill out a form and leave without talking to him. i go in today and he's like wait there i want to talk to you.

no big deal. not that unusual. so i go back and he takes a picture of me. randomly all of the sudden even though i've been seeing him for months. then he acts me what's going on and if there anything i want to talk about. i say no. i have trouble making chit chat with him.

while this is going on hes typing on his computer a bunch doing something and i see a form on his desk that says incident report. then he's basically like okay well if you don't have anything you want to talk about you can go.

it feels like he has something on me, but i can't imagine what it is. i haven't really done anything that would get me in trouble. what do you guys think this motherfucker is up to?

He may have something on you that he is not sure and might be trying to get you to say it since he does not have any evidence

Just curious what was your sentence? I would think that would be steep depending on where you live.

maximum of 20 years suspended. 3 years probation. one year in a halfway house. 6 months suspended drivers licensce and like a thousand dollar fine.

If it's not that unusual for him to want to ask you questions, do you know if he ever does other work on other cases while he asks questions? Maybe he was just doing standard procedure on the ending of your last probation and happens to have other forms that were unrelated to your case.

Next time you go there, just ask him if the picture and questions were to close first probation and what new procedures may need to be done for the next?
