i feel really weird trying to make eye contact with anybody, and am forced to break every attempt after about 2 seconds. i know eye contact is "normal" but i always feel like im staring them down or like someone will think im trying to intimidate them/undress them with my eyes (males & females). so when talking to someone my eyes wander around and meet the other persons eyes for a few seconds every now and then. so its not like i never make eye contact. it is just short and patchy. any advice?

You have to control and focus your intent properly. You need structure and to shut off your mental chatter.
