Running and causing a panic over that would've been equally stupid as the killing itself.... I would've stayed cool about it, just so long as it wasn't a shooting-spree, like into a crowd of people.

My thoughts are, if someone walks up to a specific person and shoots them dead, and then walks away without shooting anyone... 9/10 times the victim really kind of deserved it. Like over drugs, or who knows if the dude he shot killed the shooters brother, dad, cousin, best friend, dog... or even mother.

All I'm saying is, without some backstory on the shooting... whos to say that the victim didn't have it coming?

Europeans have different opinions about handguns. Their police service pistols have been chambered for cartridges that people of the US regard as weak.

This is the difference in a fountain of blood from a head wound and just a small pool.

It also makes tactical sense to use a small caliber pistol, as they would have less recoil. Note how quickly the assassin fires the shots. This also points towards a small caliber. (Quicker recovery from recoil=higher rate of fire)

Look at his head in the last frame. I doubt that is chocolate syrup leaking
out of his head.

The reaction (or lack of) from the bystanders is simply their way of saying "I didn't see shit". They know what it was, just as they know they are still alive.

The video is real, it was all over the news in Italy, it's from a CCTV camera.

As for what mrparks said about Europe and calibers, he's absolutely right, I know private security guards in Italy who carry .32acp and 7.65 Parabellum, no one in the US would consider those calibers as good self-defence rounds, but in Italy they're pretty common.

We have a huge second hand market for pistols in those calibers, back in the seventies we had a problem with domestic left-wing terrorism and gun laws were very strict, most other calibers were banned for civilian use, it's only from the eighties onwards that other rounds have been allowed for civilian ownership.

I agree....It was certainly a small caliber weapon and the killer knew what he was doing. Notice how the last shot was at the soft spot at the base of the skull were it meets the spine.....He knew that where you have to hit with a low caliber weapon for a kill. He also walked off quite casually.
