I really don't know what to think...on one hand, he's fucking 90..and will be dead soon. On the other hand, he robbed and murdered a ton of people for absolutely no reason other than to appease commands of der Fuehrer, Adolf Hitler. Actually...they should make the rest of his life a living hell...or even just end it now.

This has been happening alot lately. Most of these guys are in their 80s/90s and are dying anyway.
Some of them are in wheel chairs, have ventilators, or are in hospitals already. One guy was forced to go to court even though he was clearly too sick to be there. He didnt even understand what was going on or why he was there.
Sure they deserve to be punished, but at the same time, whats the point? These guys can barely function as it is. Even if they bring them to a jail cell, they will end up in the medical ward within a day. They are going to die in a nice comfy(debatable) hospital bed whether we like it or not.
And SIEG HEIL to all those brave nazis. You did a great job guys.

Even so, its arguable that a killing committed during wartime is to be considered a murder all these years later, even though what the Nazis did is now considered wrong. At the time they were all soldiers under command from their leader during wartime.

Leave him alone. He'll be dead in a couple months anyway, it's not like serving that time in jail is going to punish him. IMO, only the decision makers of war crimes should be tried, not the footmen. They were just following directions.

Though just following orders isn't an excuse, it does seem ridiculous to punish all of the pawns in a war game.
