Revive the rotating banners…

…and place them within the top right hand corner of each page. Doing this would bring back the originality and personality of Zoklet, fill in the large empty space, and also mean that we wouldn’t have to entirely change the main banner seeing that administration appear very adamant on keeping it.

Also, if the banners were to be forum specific then they could link to their forum, and in doing so bring more traffic to the less active forums by introducing themselves within a visually interesting and informative way.

There could also be annual contests held to create some new banners to throw into the mix. Doing this might even slightly increase traffic due to people wanting to create and see the new banners.

The only requirement is that the logo plus the banner width would have to equal 800px or less to avoid page stretching for users with smaller screens.

I wouldn't mind as much if the OMFG STAR wasn't there. Change it to something else, like the mad smiley. Hopefully that would make the text/overall banner less gay.

it might actually save some of the fresh meat that strolls in from throwing up on themselves if they have our original banners to look at instead of the gay starfish

that or the idea of individual banners for forums is great too but i think there should be new banners made in a competition like the last one

honestly at this point i don't give a flying fuck about the starfish; i haven't seen it since the second day it was up there and i feel better not having to look at it. but its fucking retarded... and since 90% of the user base agrees and it STILL hasn't been changed i think who ever is trying to keep it is also fucking retarded... IE Zok. SORRY ZOK but seriously, what the hell? even your fellow mods think it sucks. what are you trying to do? run everyone out in disgust? if i didn't like the people here i would have left by now, but instead i just blocked it and am trying to forget it.
