Cloning right before harvest

I was thinking about it, right before I harvest my baby girl could I not take a cutting right before I harvest? I wouldn't stress it out... cause a minute later she'd be drying out.

It can work but good luck, some strains are very difficult to revegetate. It's best to take clones before flowering and keep them labeled.

Yeah it could take well over a month before you get it to reveg and root well. It'd be faster to just grow a new mother plant man.

it's a last resort. and it would stress out the clone.
It "should" work eventually but like dose said could take a long long time for it to start producing new growth. Still better than ending up with no plants for your next run.
I'd take a few, viability rate would be a lot lower then cloning from veg.
there's not a whole hell of a lot of energy stored up in a rootless clone, if it spends a week trrying to push flowering hormones without a support system, it'd most likely be toast.

That would shock them into reducing energy during the last crucial days of finishing.
