[UK] Breaking into cash box in a phone box

Hi all, I was wondering if anyone in the UK had ever heard of anyone successfully breaking into a phone box and taking the cash, apparently they have an alarm, or so I've heard.

Does anyone know what tool is required to open that bottom part, it's like a slit that rotates. There is also a square if i remember correctly.

The T-key used in the "keyslot" in the front of the coin compartment only acts as a handle, you still need the key to unlock the lock on the side of the phone. It's usually a high quality lock like a medeco. It's just not worth it for a few bucks in quarters.
