Has anyone seen this show on the History Channel? It premiered last night (Sunday).

It was hilarious! The two guys who "host" it or who it follows are ridiculous. It's basically about them getting to this island in the
Juan Fernández archipelago and then backpacking for a week or so. They are absolute goofs. It does have some pretty solid animations about the Maya calender and history, etc.
They're looking for this "statue" or monolith that the one guy apparently saw 10 years before. He thinks the Maya built a special monolith for 2012 way down off the coast of Chile, however many thousands of miles -- across the Equator -- more on how that turns about below...
It's waayyy stretched out on the History Channel, commercials every few minutes and then they have to re-explain everything when it's back.
This site has some more info about it:

Spoiler alert
The "Statue" or monolith they're after turns out to be total
B.S.!! You can tell the History Channel had to show this crazy digitally enhanced version of the monolith,
you know -- how it looked 1200 years ago... hilarious!
Check it out, it's especially great high.
