After hours/ Protocol of Violence

Okay so first off I'd like to say Im not a complete noob to violence, I have been in over a dozen fights and have won just over half.

Now.. Swim is opening up an after hours drinking spot, and I have been pretty nervous about the whole thing.

Violence and confrontations scare me. Just because I am scared that I will "freeze" up, or not know what to do if a really bad situation happens. I sometimes will go over possible reactions and waste all my time thinking of the best one which will reduce the total amount of harm and just diffuse the situation. Then end up being fucked over in the meantime.

I worry quite a bit of the prospect of being straight up robbed. I plan on having all valuables chained down, but a serious robbery stresses me out to think about and I am not sure how i'd react.

Things I have been thinking about for protection are loading the place with a camera system linked to an independently powered computer (in the works), making sure my toughest friends around (I have a couple that would make good enforcers), and possibly getting a shotty "just in case" and having it hidden in a locker that only me and one other person could access. I am also thinking about maybe getting a rottweiler for the intimidation factor, but I live with my folks so it'd be hard to make happen.

I don't want anything to go wrong, and I hope it wont, but I know things are bound to happen with an establishment like this...

Anyone have any tips on dealing with a robbery, dealing with drunk fuckers, and any kind of protocol for violence? I see violence as a tool, that as much as I hate it, must be wielded in a time like this in order to maintain control.. I am wondering what kind of rules you guys follow in terms of using violence?

I have some experience in scaring the shit out of people by intimidating, and I can tell you that if you have some vicious junkyard dogs...
eg- not a pussy little rotwieler...more like a pit or a german shephard.
then nobody is going to fuck with you.

oh and when you say "dealing with a robbery"
do you mean preventing it or how to address the situation when shit goes down?
and you can just call the cops on any unruly drunks

as much as i hate the 5-0....they have their uses...
