Thumbs Up RE5 Demo

I finally took the time to download this today. It looks promising...

When I first started, I thought the controls were really clunky, but they have 4 control schemes (including the standard RE4 one), so once I fooled around with it I found one that I liked. The graphics are superb, and although I heard bad things about the partner, I actually didn't find her troublesome. I just hope that you don't have to monitor her too closely, and that she's only around for some segments.

I also hope the chainsaw/ax bosses aren't so ridiculously hard in the final game, and they should work on the sensitivity of the melee command. I'm talking about when you stun a guy and get the prompt to kick or punch him...sometimes the guy was stunned and it seemed like I had to position myself just right to get the "Uppercut", etc. option.

All in all, I'll definitely be buying this when it comes next month.

Pretty sure she (or an equivalent) is with you the entire game,
