we all know nothing could replace our beloved totse, but do you think zoklet will help heal the wounds...

its after midnight now, and im not sure if a lot more of the other totseans are going to be able to find this place.

what do you all think?

yeah, but the forums are what made totse great....the site was good for a bunch of middle schoolers who want to blow some shit up, but the threads were where all the lulz were produced.

i think most people are just looking for a good forum.

Well, I originally suggested a forum for everyone to move to that I had already made, but people liked this one much better.

Eh, but it was ProBoards when I made it back in '08, so people were pissed about that. I'm not even going to post it anymore. I've only got anarchomaniac and pengd0t besides me and my friends, so I say screw it.

It'll be what we make it.

If we all try our hardest to contribute as much as we can, it'll be great like Totse once was. But if we all make shit threads and get bored of the place, it'll die, and we'll lose a very special community.

Imo, we shouldn't bother making replica forums, the userbase is what made Totse, not the forum names,etc, and most of the people have migrated here.

It's hard to say at the moment... If a good portion of the regulars migrate there's no reason why it couldn't turn out great.

I think that all these people trying to resurrect totse are wasting their time.

Just let it die.

This site has much of the appeal that totse had, and while it is in a stage of transition it could turn out just as good or even better. This place is starting on a clean slate and the people here have many years of totse experience. They can hopefully pinpoint where they went wrong on totse and correct it here. It is also by far the biggest center of totse refugee's and if any of you want any hope of filling the vacuum, you would be better off staying here than splintering off with dozens of cheap totse imitations.

Just my 2 cents.

I think one of the important things is to find a forum that will most likely last for years to come. And I have read that zok had alot to do with totse. So I think this forum will last for a long time and it already has lots of arrivals from totse. Alot of the other forums people are posting dont even have many members or activity going on. And I have a feeling that some of these "totse 2's" wont last very long so I wouldnt even waste my time posting there.

I agree 100%, if we start creating all thos cheap totse rip-offs we'll end up spreading out members across too many boards, we need to keep the community intact and this place seems the best option, at least for now.

We should also come down on the demands a little, at the end of the day this is not totse nor it will ever be, we can perhaps make a few changes but I think it's futile to try and morph this place into a totse look-alike.

Just take this place for what it is, improve it a bit and create something new.

I agree that screaming "ghey! ghey! ghey!" isn't exactly inspiration to change the site, but also keep in mind that it's only been a day or two. Zok made some pretty major changes in the last 24 hours, and he'll be making more tomorrow, presumably. We want to make people happy so that they stay. However, you also correctly point out that it's a bad idea to try to slowly morph this board into a totse look-alike. Sorry to disappoint, but that won't be happening.

In the end, if you keep your suggestions/demands constructive, and give Zok a chance to catch up to the rather large number of requests for changes, I'm pretty sure that most people will be quite pleased with how it all turns out.

Probably going to check out the cheapest domain name plan, and buy with a Viza gift card, so long as I don't get mail to my house. Eventually, I'll probably let the TOTSE influx go, as zok is more well known than I am, and people like VBul better than ProBoards.
